Manual Handling

 

“Manual Handling is a physical activity that takes place in every workplace and in some cases the activity does not pose a problem. However it can be a potential workplace hazard when an employee incorrectly handles a load or required to handle heavy loads, which could result in a back injury. 35% of work related accidents are the result of injury and damage to a disc”. Course Objective

Its aim is to give participants the knowledge and skill necessary to lift and handle loads in a safe manner, provide staff with an understanding of good work practices and the importance of their own fitness and health.
